Peace Keepers Violence Prevention Program
The primary focus of the "Peace Keepers Violence Prevention Program" is to reduce gun violence in neighborhoods across NYC by making students and parents stakeholders in building healthy communities and reducing conflicts that lead to gun violence. Peacekeepers will receive mentorship and conflict resolution strategies while expanding their purview of professional opportunities.
The program model is designed to help youth avoid negative behaviors, achieve success, share positive values, develop a better attitude towards school, increase social and emotional development, improve self-esteem, reduce bullying, and promote good decision-making skills while building future leaders.
